School Infrastructure Control System

This is an ASP application designed primarily for secondary schools, but can easily be incorporated into other organisations.

Main Features

• Written entirely in ASP so only needs a web server to run, which means no client software needs to be installed other than a Java Script enabled browser such as IE or Netscape.
• Allows users (e.g. teachers) to submit support requests from any networked PC. These requests are assigned by an administrator to an appropriate technician. The user is kept informed of the progress of the request by automated emails as it passes through the system.
• Users can book IT rooms (or any other room, or resource) for any date or lesson. They can also search for free rooms/equipment for a particular day/lesson.
• Technicians can search for previous problems by location, particular equipment etc. to spot any patterns.
• Capability for 1 or 2 week timetables with up to 10 periods per school day.
• Automatic stock control of equipment, especially consumables, which are automatically updated when technicians use them to solve a support request.
• Capability for unlimited users, rooms, resources etc.
